To vaccinate or not to vaccinate...

Oh yes... a very controversial topic. I want opinions!! I am thinking most vaccinations won't be given to Asher. I'm not a huge fan of most  medicines & I avoid antibiotics whenever possible. Anyways I am not super knowledgeable on the topic. I don't even have a child yet. haha. I am just thinking ahead, and a friend brought it up to me yesterday along with a customer. So what are your thoughts? Hit me with them.

Here are a couple links. Where do YOU learn about these?

Pregnancy Survival

well I'm definitely no expert on being pregnant, especially since I honestly never even thought about kids or wanted kids. until the one day i woke up and i did.  now it's all i do or talk about babies, kids, pregnancy! witch products are best, how i want & hope my labor does go, things i don't want my kid to do or partake in. yes i think i drive everyone very crazy. i think i probably really drive my friends crazy & maybe that's why we never hang out :( i'm that girl now, the one you go to lunch with & all she talks about is her kid. it's nauseating RIGHT!! i will try harder my friends, i'm sorry, i'm pretty much an open book kind of person so if i'm thinking it i usually say it(not always a good trait).
pretty much no one in my family thinks my birth plan is a great idea. they think i'm crazy. i think i'm educating myself & it's the right choice for me. we will see how it pans out. anyways i'm really posting this more to remember than for anyone else...
you want to read it awesome possum, you don't that's fine too.

Anyways.....

i wanted to post a bit about the best things that have helped me survive/enjoy my first pregnancy.

#1 (and my most favorite)
Peppermint beadlets by doTERRA
these helped me survive the first trimester & the nausea. they are amazing for all tummy troubles. all doterra oils have been amazing to have during pregnancy & now that i have been without medicines for 6 months & know oils can be an healthier alternative i am going to try to keep it that way after this nugget is born. I used to take an Aleve, a Prevacid &  a Allergy pill(in spring & summer) EVERY day. turns out i don't need them.

this is a picture of my oil bag that i never ever leave the house without.

#2 Hypno birthing Book
to those of you that have never heard of hypno birthing you are thinking "what the hell, she's going to get hypnotized?" witch is what my family basically thinks & they think it's mumbo jumbo. holy hannah though this book has helped me so so much. it has helped me look at birth in a whole new way. it doesn't have to be this traumatic experience where the mom to be is screaming at the top of her lungs. i was so so terrified to give birth before i read this book & now i view it so differently. birth is natural, we women are suppose to give birth. to sum up this book it's basically putting your body in a deep state of relaxation, the atmosphere needs to be calm around you also. when you are stressed your whole body clenches & it makes it harder to give birth.(for you & baby) so it is kind of a state of hypnosis. for example when you are driving & you are deep in thought then you get home & think "wow i don't even remember my drive home" that is hypnosis too.
anyways i recommend reading this book, even if you are not planning on a hypno birth. it was help you have a better birthing experience. i am taking the class soon & really hope i can accomplish a hypno birth drug free.

you can visit the website for Utah Hypno birthing here.

#3Herbalife
well in my first trimester my body was not a fan of the shakes, so i could't drink them. :( they were too milky for me in the first trimester. i did take all the vitamins during the first trimester & continue to do so. Herbalife has some seriously great products & I definitely recommend it to help you get all the vitamins & nutrients your body needs. pregnant or not. I feel so so much better on it. Oh &  i drink a shake every morning again. don't worry i'm not starving Asher. i add chia seed  in my shake along with half a banana a lot of times. then i eat something else 3 hours later. I've also been using herbalife to make a evening treat for mike & i.
i do 4 scoops vanilla herbalife, ice, milk, coconut creamer, instant coffee powder, & cocoa powder. it's just like getting a mocha coconut frap. SOO yum!

#4 Prenatal Yoga
i only started doing this a couple of weeks ago & sometimes it feels cheesy, but holy cow it makes my back so happy & i sleep like a champ whenever i do it. I LOVE IT

I bought it on amazon.

Anyways baby Ash this is what Momma was doing while you were cooking.
XOXO

Oh goodness I can't wait to meet this little man!! It is really starting to fly by & I need to get my butt in gear. I really need to start working on turning my amazing Geeked out office into his room (i'm a tiny bit sad). I need to do a lot of cleaning re-organizing & the one thing I want most is a new (HIGH QUALITY) vacuum before he gets here. I have one in mind and I really hope we can sell the van soon so I can get it. Yes we are selling the band van. Lots of good memories in that thing. I am really really going to miss going to the bands shows. Mike & I are both a bit depressed that they are no longer. :(

If any of you mommas have any must have baby gear you would like to share your info with me about that would be great & I can add it to my registry. If there is something you think is pointless or just sucks I would like to hear about that too! Either on here or FB. Thanks :) Have a great day.
